Registration for Fall 2017/Spring 2018 parking permits is now open!
Processing of permits will begin in early August. Permits can be picked up at the Mail Center window. The Mail Center will notify you when the permit is ready to be picked up.
How to apply for your permit: Logon to theROCK->Campus Services->Public Safety->Resources->Vehicle Registration and Parking Permit->New Application
If you cannot select a permit type, you may have less than 30 credits posted to your account. Please contact the Registrar’s office if you have any questions or concerns with your transcript.
Resident Students without 30 or more credits may fill out a Freshman Parking Appeal. This form is found on theROCK and can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. The form is also attached to this email. Decisions will be made in early August.
On Campus Residents: Please remember that parking on campus is limited and permit are issued on a first-come, first-served basis. Once lot limits have been reached, applicants will put on a wait list.
Commuters: Regardless of credit, are able to apply for a parking permit. We currently do not limit the number of commuter permits issued.
On Campus PSEO Students: You should select Commuter for permit type.
Online PSEO: You are not required to purchase a parking permit. Temporary permits are available in the Public Safety Office if you are visiting campus.
- Resident: $155/semester ($310 for the year)
- Commuter: $130/semester ($260 for the year)
Charges are applied to your student account in August and then automatically before the spring semester begins in January. If anything changes with your vehicle, you will need to stop in our office to help us update your registration.
Students who apply for a parking permit by August 1st will be entered into a drawing for a free parking permit! Two winners will be picked, one resident and one commuter, who will each receive a free permit for the entire year.
